What is a brand in Endless, and how do I add, use, and retire one?
A brand is a name your company sells products under. Each product belongs to one brand, and a company can have several. The company is your Endless account: it holds your users, billing, integrations, warehouses, orders, and settings, and its handle appears in every web address. Brands sit inside a company and group its products.
To add a brand, go to Settings > Brands and enter a brand name of up to 50 characters. Endless creates the brand and generates its handle from the name. It does not create products, inventory, or integrations. You can then add a logo, description, and website on the brand page. A supplier is different: it is a business you buy from, used on purchase orders and inbound shipments.
To remove a brand, contact Endless support. The brand page says “Contact support if you need to remove this brand from your catalog.”
Use a brand when a product line is sold under its own name, while keeping company-wide access. Brand filters do not restrict permissions, and legacy brand roles have been retired. Use a custom attribute when you only need to group, filter, or report on products, such as by division or private-label customer.
The Products and Inventory lists have a Brand filter, and their exports include only rows matching the current filters, so you can export one brand. For an order export limited to one brand, contact Endless support for help.
The former brand actions “Initialize inventory” and “Import carriers” are not available on the brand page. Use the Inventory area to manage stock and the integration’s carrier mappings to connect carrier services. Contact Endless support if inventory records or carrier services appear to be missing.
