What shows up in my Inbox, and how do unread counts, dismissing, and retention work?

The Inbox lists notifications for the company you are working in: your own, plus ones sent to the whole company. Your own come from work you started, such as exports, imports, bulk order actions, inventory pushes and pulls, product imports and pushes, media uploads, and QuickBooks syncs. Notifications you subscribed to, such as Order Fulfillment Failure, also arrive there, and any process still running shows a progress card at the top.

Each category filter shows the notifications about that part of Endless, such as Orders for order exports and sales order imports, or ECHO for ECHO exports and imports. Use All to see everything, including System and Integrations notifications, which appear only there. Contact Endless support for help with the Automation and EDI filters.

The unread count next to Inbox counts every unread notification in the company, whatever tab or category filter you have open. With the Unread tab or a category filter selected, the list can be empty while the count shows unread notifications elsewhere. Select All with no category to see them. “Mark all as read” marks your personal notifications. To mark a company-wide notification read, open it.

Dismissing a notification removes it from the Inbox permanently, so dismiss only the ones you no longer need. When you dismiss a company-wide notification, it disappears for everyone in the company, and reading one marks it read for everyone too.

Inbox notifications stay until someone dismisses them. Endless does not remove them after a set time. Download links in export notifications expire, after 24 hours by default.
