How do I export ECHO history and safely reimport corrections?

Use the export action in ECHO’s ordered or shipped Data view to download records matching its date, SKU, sales channel, and source filters.

The CSV contains date, sku, sales_channel, quantity_ordered and order_count for ordered history, or quantity_shipped and shipment_count for shipped history, plus revenue, note, and source. Use it for reconciliation, spreadsheets, or business intelligence tools.

To correct imported history, filter Source to Manual, export, change the values, and import the file into the same dataset. Keep date, sku, and sales_channel unchanged to replace the same Manual record. If you change those identifying fields, remove the original Manual record so both do not contribute to totals.

Every imported row becomes Manual, regardless of the source column. Remove Automatic and Adjustment rows before reimporting, unless you deliberately want another Manual record containing their values. Reimporting does not replace those other sources.

For example, an Automatic record with 10 units and a Manual record with 10 units contribute 20 units together. An Adjustment record adds its value as well.

You can edit quantity and note on Manual and Adjustment records directly in ECHO. Automatic records follow operational data. See editing historical records and CSV preparation.
