What is ECHO, what do its ordered and shipped figures mean, and why might I not see it?

ECHO is a daily history of your units ordered, units shipped, and, on some accounts, inventory, kept for reporting and comparison. Find it under Demand, then ECHO.

The Orders and Inventory pages show your live records. ECHO stores totals per SKU, sales channel, and day, which Endless builds once a day from your orders and shipments. It also holds history you import from before Endless and records you add yourself. It has an Overview with monthly charts, and Units Ordered, Units Shipped, and Inventory views, each with charts and a table of records.

You might not see ECHO because:

  • ECHO depends on your plan. Without it, the page shows “ECHO is a premium feature.”
  • Only the Admin and Operator roles can view ECHO data. Guests and the specialized roles, such as Sales Rep, cannot.
  • The Inventory view shows “Coming soon” on accounts where it is not turned on. Contact Endless support for help.

Units Ordered counts units on sales orders by the day each order was created, leaving out canceled orders. Units Shipped counts units on shipped shipments by ship date, or by the date Endless recorded the shipment when it does not have one. Because the two use different dates, a period can ship units that were ordered in an earlier period.

Quantity totals are separated by unit, so kilograms, liters, and eaches are not added together. When several units are present, use the chart’s unit selector. Revenue and order counts can still cover all products.

Revenue in Units Ordered is each line’s price times its quantity, minus the line’s discount. In Units Shipped it is the shipped quantity times the line’s price after discount. Neither includes tax or shipping charges. Revenue is shown in your company’s currency.

The fill rate is units shipped divided by units ordered in the same period, with unfulfilled units as ordered minus shipped. It compares the volume shipped and ordered within a period. It does not track whether each order shipped, and it can be above 100%. To see it, ask a connected AI assistant, or have your developer or an AI coding tool read it from ECHO through a Read Only Data Integration. API access must be in your plan.
