When do I need an Owner, Admin, or Editor instead of Operator or Guest access?

Operators handle orders, fulfillments, inventory, and purchasing. Editors also maintain product data. Admins add integration management and operational settings. Owners manage company settings, billing, and team access.

An Operator can view product data but needs Editor, Admin, or Owner access to maintain it. Do not assume permission to process an order also permits changing the product catalog.

Ask an Admin or Owner to manage integrations, run integration actions, change building configuration, or manage automation rules. Operator access does not include those settings.

Guests can view information but cannot export orders, products, or inventory, or create, submit, or cancel freight booking requests. Operator, Editor, Admin, and Owner roles can perform those tasks.

If an action is unavailable, check that you are in the correct company. Your company Owner can review the role under Team & Roles and save the appropriate selection. Reload the page afterward. Contact Endless support if the role description and the action’s result do not agree.
