How can Endless AI answer questions about products and current stock?

Ask Endless AI to find a product and read its catalog details or current inventory quantities.

search_products matches the beginning of a SKU, any part of a name, or a complete UPC. It also filters by product type, brand, supplier, and archived status. Results include price, stock, available quantities, and the total number of matches.

get_product reads one product by SKU or ID, including:

  • SKU, UPC, description, type, and brand;
  • price, costs, weight, dimensions, shipping measurements, and customs information;
  • images and named custom attributes;
  • in-stock, available, allocated, and ordered quantities;
  • suppliers, bundle components, and component inventory and fulfillment settings.

Weights are in pounds and dimensions in inches. Product weight and shipping weight are separate. These are Endless catalog records; they do not establish whether a product is published or available in Shopify.

Try “What is available versus allocated for ABC-100?”, “Which products do we buy from Acme?”, “What makes up this kit?”, or “Find active products with sunrise in the name.”

The assistant can use a supplier returned by a product lookup to find other products from that supplier, or search orders containing the SKU. Ask for the product’s timeline to investigate a price or catalog change.
