How can Endless AI explain historical inventory positions and changes?

Ask Endless AI for an ECHO inventory position, a trend, or the changes that led to a SKU’s stock level. These tools require AI assistant access and ECHO.

get_inventory_summary reads available, on-hand, in-stock, allocated, and incoming quantities, with SKU and warehouse breakdowns. It sums the latest snapshot for each SKU, warehouse, and source within the requested window. It does not add one day’s stock to the next.

get_inventory_series gives the closing recorded position for each daily, weekly, or monthly bucket. Try “What was our stock position at quarter-end?” or “Has ABC-100 stock increased since June?”

list_inventory_changes lists recorded changes newest first, with the cause and the levels after each change. Building figures describe the SKU across the warehouse; location figures describe the particular location that changed.

To calculate a movement, subtract consecutive levels for the same SKU and warehouse when using building figures, or the same SKU and location when using location figures. Adjacent rows can describe different SKUs or locations. When several changes share a timestamp, the newest row represents the final level at that moment.

Bulk recalculations do not appear in this change history, so it does not explain every possible change to a stock level. Try “What changed ABC-100 inventory last week?” and inspect the related activity if needed.

For a single product’s stock right now, use the product tools.
