What replaced fulfillment processing rules, and how do I automate fulfillment now?

Use an automation with the Process Fulfillment action to process new fulfillment orders automatically. Fulfillment processing rules have been retired; they cannot be created, edited, or assigned.

Choose the Fulfillment Created trigger and a processing outcome: “Allocate only,” “Allocate and mark ready,” or “Allocate and send for fulfillment.” Add conditions such as Building or Sales Channel to control which fulfillment orders it handles. Processing must be enabled on the fulfillment order.

To choose a warehouse integration automatically, add Set Fulfillment Integration before Process Fulfillment in the same automation. This replaces any integration already selected on the new fulfillment order. Sending requires a fulfillment integration.

A routing strategy chooses which buildings supply an order’s items and creates fulfillment orders. Processing allocates their inventory, marks them Ready, or sends them to the warehouse. Find routing strategies under Settings → Operations → Fulfillment Orders.

Process Fulfillment makes one attempt. After resolving a hold, stock shortage, or missing shipping details, process the fulfillment order again. Historical processing-rule assignments can still cause this action to skip a fulfillment order; contact Endless support if that happens.
