Can Endless hold orders automatically until they are paid, in stock, or inside their ship window?
Use a Hold Order automation to place matching orders on hold, and conditions on Process Fulfillment to choose which new fulfillment orders may proceed.
For payment checks, limit processing to the financial statuses you accept. For wholesale net terms, include the appropriate order type or sales channel in those conditions. Without a hold or a matching restriction in your automation, unpaid orders can be processed.
A fulfillment order cannot allocate until its building has enough available inventory for every item. If stock is short when the processing action runs, it stops. After stock arrives, process the fulfillment order again; the action does not wait and retry automatically.
Hold Order can run when an order is created or approved, with an optional reason. Conditions can include Financial Status, Order Tags, and Sales Channel. A held order’s fulfillment orders cannot be allocated, marked ready, or sent. Release holds with Manage Holds, then process the order.
For fraud review, have the store tag orders and use a Hold Order automation with an Order Tags condition. Endless records Ship After and Ship By dates, but to prevent early sending, place the order on hold and release it on the chosen date.
Fulfillment processing rules and their payment conditions have been retired. Contact Endless support for help replacing an existing setup or handling payment and ship-window checks.
