How does Endless share fulfillment information with the system an order came from?
Endless reads the source system’s fulfillment plan and can synchronize its own fulfillment plan and shipments back to Shopify.
Shopify, Amazon FBA, and Wayfair CastleGate can import fulfillment orders with sales orders. Shopify locations map to buildings. Other sources normally require fulfillment orders created manually or by a Create Fulfillments automation.
The requested fulfillment plan records the source’s locations, items, and quantities, including shipped quantities. View requested fulfillment plan shows the latest saved plan; reload the order if it is missing.
For Shopify, Sync fulfillments and shipments moves, merges, and splits open fulfillments to match Endless, matches existing Shopify shipments, imports shipments recorded there, and sends outstanding Endless shipments. It also checks tracking on linked Endless-managed shipments. The fulfillment quantities must cover the sales order and the buildings must have valid Shopify location mappings. Conflicting locations or ambiguous matches require review.
The Shopify setting Mark fulfillment orders in progress in Shopify can mark a fulfillment in progress there when Endless sends it to a warehouse.
Unlinked fulfillment or shipment signals mean Endless cannot match the records to the source. Read the timeline and use synchronization to resolve the mismatch; Send shipments sends outstanding shipment reports.
A warehouse update must come from the integration responsible for the fulfillment. Status changes also obey the fulfillment’s requirements. Get Shipment is available across statuses when the integration supports it and an External ID exists, but the integration still decides which returned changes can be applied. Processing-disabled fulfillments can receive shipments without reducing inventory. Contact Endless support when synchronization needs review.
