Why did my fulfillment order stop moving forward automatically, and how do I get it going again?

Check whether processing is enabled, then read the fulfillment order’s blocked conditions and its automation run or timeline. A Process Fulfillment automation makes one attempt when the fulfillment order is created; fixing a problem later does not repeat that attempt.

Common reasons it stops are insufficient stock at the building, a hold on the sales order, an incomplete shipping address, or a missing carrier service on the fulfillment order. Sending also requires a fulfillment integration. An old processing-rule assignment can cause Process Fulfillment to skip the fulfillment; contact Endless support about that assignment.

Enable processing if it is disabled. Resolve the missing requirements, then select Allocate, Mark as Ready, or Send for fulfillment as appropriate. The Fulfillment Orders list also offers Process fulfillments for selected rows, with outcomes to allocate only, allocate and mark ready, or allocate and send.

Steps already completed stay in place. A send queued in the background is not yet a confirmed warehouse handoff. If it fails, check the timeline and warehouse before retrying.

Fulfillment processing rules have been retired, so creating or assigning another rule is not the way to restart processing. Use a Fulfillment Created automation with Process Fulfillment for future orders.
