How do I create a fulfillment order by hand or split an order into several fulfillment orders?

Create a fulfillment order by hand from the sales order’s Items To Fulfill card. Select Create Fulfillments, then Choose Building. In the “New Fulfillment Order” dialog, pick a building, remove the items you do not want, set each quantity, and select Create Fulfillment. The building list shows how much of the selected items each building has available, but Endless creates the fulfillment order in Draft whether or not the building has stock. Quantities cannot exceed the units not already on another fulfillment order. Items To Fulfill appears only on confirmed orders with units not yet on a fulfillment order.

“No buildings found” means no active building matches what you typed in the building search, or the account does not have any active buildings. “Buildings could not be loaded” means the list failed to load.

To split an order, put some units on one fulfillment order and the rest on another. On a Draft or Allocated fulfillment order, lower a quantity with “Edit item” or “Bulk edit items,” or remove the line. The units you take off return to Items To Fulfill. Then use Choose Building to create a second fulfillment order for them, at the same building or another one. A routing strategy with “Max fulfillments per order” above 1 also splits orders across buildings.

“Add to existing” adds units from Items To Fulfill to a fulfillment order that is Draft, Allocated, or Failed. On an Allocated or Failed one, Endless checks that the building has stock for the added units, then reserves the whole fulfillment order again. Without that stock, the change is rejected.

A fulfillment order can ship to a different address from its sales order. On the fulfillment order, edit Shipping Info and choose “Set a specific shipping address for this fulfillment.” “Reset to order’s shipping” removes it. When you later change the sales order’s address, Endless warns that fulfillment orders with their own address keep it. After the fulfillment order is sent, also make any address change in the warehouse system.
