How do I change the sales channel or source integration on an order?
To change an order’s sales channel, select “Change Sales Channel” on the order and choose the new one. To change which integration manages the order, select “Assign Source Integration” or “Change Source Integration.”
Changing the sales channel updates the order and its sales channel reporting. It does not change prices already on the order, its fulfillment orders, or anything in the sales channel itself. You can change it in any status, including Shipped and Canceled. New items added later are priced from the new sales channel.
“Assign Source Integration” sets the integration the order came from, such as a second Shopify store. That integration then manages the order: its updates apply to the order, and Endless reloads the order from it right away when the integration supports reloading. Updates from any other integration are skipped. The option appears only when the order has an origin order ID. The integration must be able to send orders, and a replacement must be the same type as the current source.
Cancel the order’s fulfillment orders first, because they were created and sent for the old source. The change is available only when every fulfillment order on the order is Canceled. Fulfilled fulfillment orders cannot be canceled, so contact Endless support for help changing the source integration of an order with shipped items.
To change the sales channel on many existing orders, change each one on its own page, or contact Endless support for help.
To put new orders into the right sales channel by tag, create an automation:
- Trigger: Order Created.
- Condition: Order Tags, “include any of,” and the tag. Tags must match exactly, including capital letters.
- Action: Assign Sales Channel, and choose the channel.
Create one automation per tag, or one automation with an action for each tag, each with its own condition. The automation runs only on orders created after it is enabled.
