Does canceling in Endless also stop the warehouse and cancel the order in my sales channel?
Canceling in Endless asks the warehouse to cancel any fulfillment order it already received, when the warehouse integration accepts cancellations. Cancel the order in the sales channel yourself.
To cancel or remove one fulfillment order, select “Cancel Fulfillment” on it. Draft, Allocated, and Ready fulfillment orders have not reached the warehouse, so Endless cancels them and releases their inventory. For an In Progress one, Endless asks the warehouse integration, such as InfoPlus, MasonHub, ShipBob, ShipHero, or ShipStation, to cancel its copy, and cancels the fulfillment order in Endless. Check the order in the warehouse and cancel it there if it is still open.
When the dialog says the fulfillment order “is with a system that does not accept cancellations,” cancel the order in the warehouse yourself and confirm with “Pull it back.” Endless cancels its fulfillment order and stops counting it as sent. Canceling a whole sales order pulls these back without asking, so cancel them in those warehouses too.
“Could not cancel the fulfillment” means Endless could not cancel the fulfillment order. The message after it gives the reason.
Connected warehouses update a fulfillment order until it is canceled. If a warehouse ships one after you canceled it, contact Endless support for help.
When the warehouse cancels on its side, Endless finds out the next time it checks that order. InfoPlus, Jazz, MasonHub, ShipBob, ShipHero, and ShipStation work the same way. Endless marks the fulfillment order Failed with “Order canceled in” the system’s name. If the sales order should not ship, cancel it in Endless. If the fulfillment order already has shipments, Endless leaves it and adds a timeline note to review them.
When Shopify cancels an order, Endless cancels it too, unless a fulfillment order is past Allocated. Then Endless adds a timeline note, and you cancel the order after checking the warehouse. When another sales channel cancels an order, cancel it in Endless as well.
