Can Endless track lots, expiration dates, serial numbers, case packs, inventory value, and stock per brand?
Endless tracks each SKU’s stock by building and location. Use locations for lots, bundles for case packs, exports for inventory value, and separate SKUs or buildings for brands.
Lots and expiration dates: to keep lots apart, store each lot in its own location and assign that location on a fulfillment order line. Supply shipment lines have a lot number field for reference. Allocation chooses locations by the line’s assigned location and then by zone. Contact Endless support to discuss tracking expiration dates or shipping the oldest stock first.
Serial numbers: contact Endless support to discuss tracking serial numbers for individual units.
Cases and eaches: a product’s stock is kept in the product’s unit of measure. To sell eaches and cases from the same stock, track the each SKU and set up the case as a bundle that contains it. The case then sells from the each SKU’s stock through Available to Make.
Costing: products have a unit cost and a landed cost. Shipped items are costed at the supplier cost on the fulfillment item, or else the product’s landed cost, or else its unit cost. Contact Endless support to discuss FIFO or other costing methods.
Inventory value: the Inventory page and the inventory export show quantities. To estimate value, export inventory and product costs and combine them in a spreadsheet.
Brands: a SKU can exist only once in a company and belongs to one brand. Its stock is shared across the company, by building. The Brand filter on the inventory list filters by the product’s brand. To keep stock for different brands apart, use separate SKUs or separate buildings.
