How do I set up a new integration, and can I connect several or limit one to a brand?

Add an integration from the Integrations page: choose its type, give it a name, and enter the credentials it asks for. Some types connect through the other system’s own approval page instead of keys, such as Shopify, ShipBob, Faire, and Quickbooks. Then complete the integration’s Settings tab, and map its data on the Data mapping tab: connect buildings to the other system’s warehouses or locations, and map sales channels and carriers where shown.

“Setup required” appears on a Shopify integration until you save its Client ID and Client secret, and add the installation link and Sales Channel on the Settings tab. It then shows “App installation required” until the store approves the app.

An integration belongs to the whole company, not to one brand. Its orders, inventory, and product data apply across the company’s brands. To keep a brand’s orders apart, give that brand’s store its own sales channel. Contact Endless support to discuss limiting an integration to one brand.

You can connect more than one integration of the same type, such as two Shopify stores. Each needs a name that is unique in the company. Your plan can limit how many sales, fulfillment, and EDI integrations you connect, and custom and accounting integrations must be included in your plan.

Before Endless can send orders to a 3PL and get shipments back, the 3PL needs to:

  • give you API credentials, plus any account, customer, or warehouse IDs the integration’s settings ask for,
  • tell you the ID of each warehouse, so you can connect it to a building,
  • hold your products under the same SKUs as Endless, unless the integration creates missing products,
  • accept the shipping methods your carrier mappings send, or map them on their side.

Endless gets shipments back either by checking the 3PL on a schedule or from notifications the 3PL sends, depending on the integration. The integration’s setup instructions say which credentials it needs.
