How does Endless show order totals, shipping charges, and margin?
The order’s Payment card shows the amount charged to the customer: line prices times quantities, less discounts, plus shipping and tax. The Financials view shows revenue, recorded costs, and profit when it is available on your account.
Revenue includes the whole order’s line revenue after discounts and customer shipping charges, excluding tax, even before it ships. Costs show shipment item costs, shipping, and other fees recorded so far. Partial costs are not an estimate of the finished order’s costs.
Profit remains unavailable until the relevant quantities have shipped and sales prices and unit costs are known. An explicit zero unit cost is valid. Missing optional shipment fees do not block profit, so check the missing-cost explanation before treating the result as complete. Canceled orders retain revenue and costs but do not report profit.
Shipping charged to the customer is separate from freight paid to the carrier. Edit the customer charge in Edit Financial Details on the Payment card. Imported updates can replace it, depending on the integration. Shipment freight belongs to the shipment costs.
If the order total is zero despite visible prices, check whether the items were removed or discounts offset their value. Removed lines have zero quantity.
Use the Order Financials export for one row per order or totals by day, week, or month, optionally split by sales channel. The CSV uses current financials and keeps currencies separate. Contact Endless support if Financials is unavailable on your account.
