Does Endless keep customer records, email customers, or create invoices for orders?
Your sales channel or accounting system emails your customers, and Endless keeps records for the business customers you set up.
Order confirmation, shipping, and delivery emails come from your sales channel. When Endless sends a shipment’s tracking to the order’s source, such as Shopify, that system can notify the buyer under its own settings. Your developer or an AI coding tool can also email buyers from a service that receives the Send Webhook automation’s request on Order Created, which includes the order’s items and ship-to email. Automations must be in your plan.
Customer records are on the Customers page, which may not be available on every account. A customer is a business account you create, with contacts, locations, prices, and an Orders tab that lists its linked orders. To see one store buyer’s orders, search all order data for their name or email. EDI orders link to a customer when the trading partner is mapped to one. To link existing orders, use “Bulk link orders” on the customer’s Orders tab. To find a customer’s orders, use the Customer filter on the Sales Orders list.
Invoices reach customers from your accounting system. Create documents manually or use a Shipment Created automation with Create order financial document. Choose an invoice or sales receipt; the action covers uninvoiced shipment quantities and does not require QuickBooks. Enabling accounting alone does not create documents, and later order or shipment changes do not automatically rewrite them. You can also create one on the order’s Accounting tab, then select “Push to QuickBooks” to send it. For retailers connected over EDI, “Send EDI 810” sends the invoice for a fulfillment order. The Accounting tab may not be available on every account.
For an order confirmation, use “Export as PDF” on a fulfillment order, which creates a PDF of that fulfillment order and its items. For retailers connected over EDI, Endless can send an 855 purchase order acknowledgment when your EDI setup includes it. Contact Endless support to discuss customer emails, invoices, or order confirmations.
