What do the supply shipment statuses mean, and how does a shipment move between them?
A supply shipment progresses from Pending through In Transit, Delivered, In Receiving, Received, and Closed. The header shows the next action. Its menu offers other allowed steps, including Start Receiving and Mark as Received.
Mark as Shipped records departure and needs at least one item. Mark as Delivered records arrival. To start receiving, set a destination and add the items being counted. Saving receipts from Pending, In Transit, or Delivered also starts receiving. At a building managed by Endless, saving the counts updates stock.
Choose Mark as Received to finish counting after at least one unit arrives. Review any short lines first. On a shipment linked directly to a PO, accepting a short count releases the missing units back to the PO, except quantities still on open child shipments. Choose Close from Received.
Enter the actual dates when prompted. The ship date must be on or before delivery, and delivery on or before receipt. Revert goes back one step and clears the date for the step you leave. To correct a saved count, revert to In Receiving. Reverse all receipts before reverting to Delivered or canceling.
Uncancel returns the shipment to its previous status if its linked PO lines can still cover the shipment. If someone changes the status while the page is open, reload and choose the action for the current status.
