Can I edit, close, cancel, or delete a supply shipment, and what happens to its stock?

Use Bulk edit to change shipment items, including while the shipment is In Transit. A line’s quantity must cover the units already received. To remove a line with receipts, return the shipment to In Receiving, set the line’s received quantity to zero, and save.

Cancel keeps the shipment and its history. It removes the shipment from incoming and releases its quantities back to the purchase order. Endless requests cancellation of its warehouse receiving order and confirmed delivery appointment. Check Activity for either result. Uncancel restores the previous status if the purchase order still has enough unshipped units on every linked line.

Delete permanently removes the shipment and its children. To cancel or delete a shipment with receipts, first reverse its receipts in In Receiving. Lowering a receipt also removes the corresponding stock from a building managed by Endless.

Choose Mark as Received when counting is finished and at least one unit has arrived. On an ordinary PO shipment, accepting a short receipt returns the missing units to the PO as unshipped. Choose Close from Received to finish the shipment. Uncancel a canceled shipment before continuing.
