Which bulk actions can I run on orders, and why do some selected orders get skipped?

Select orders on the Sales Orders list and open “Bulk Actions.” You can select up to 50 orders. Each action runs only on the selected orders that qualify, and an action is greyed out when none qualify:

  • Create Fulfillments: Ordered orders. You choose a routing strategy. Orders that already have active fulfillment orders are skipped.
  • Approve Orders: Pending orders.
  • Reload orders: Pending, Ordered, or In Progress orders whose source integration supports reloading.
  • Send shipments: Shipped orders whose source integration accepts shipments.
  • Rebuild Signals, Refresh Shipment Costs, and Delete Orders: any order.

The integration actions show how many selected orders qualify, such as “3 of 5 selected orders,” and the confirmation says how many will be skipped. A Draft order becomes Ordered when you select “Commit Draft” on it, and then qualifies for Create Fulfillments.

To fulfill orders in bulk, use Create Fulfillments. It creates the fulfillment orders. On the Fulfillment Orders list, use Bulk actions → Enable processing if needed, then Process fulfillments to allocate only, allocate and mark ready, or allocate and send. These are separate actions. Completion messages report successes, failures, and skipped fulfillments.

Endless reserves inventory for a sales order when a fulfillment order is allocated, by an automation or with Allocate under “Process Fulfillment” on a Draft fulfillment order. “Reload orders” fetches the latest order from its source integration and does not reserve inventory.

Create Fulfillments, Delete Orders, and Refresh Shipment Costs run in the background. Endless queues the orders and creates fulfillment orders one order at a time, so the list can take a moment to show the result. Select the reload button next to “Bulk Actions” to refresh the list.
