What does the inventory export include, and why might its numbers differ from what I see in Endless?

Choose Export Inventory from the inventory list’s actions menu, then choose how to group the rows:

  • Combined: one row per SKU, with Physical, Allocated, Available to Make, Available to Allocate, Ordered, Available to Sell, and Total Incoming.
  • Split by warehouse: one row per SKU per building, with the same quantities for that building. Use this to see the quantity in each building.
  • Split by location: one row per SKU per location, with Stock Level and Location Allocated.

Endless builds the file in the background and sends an Inbox notification when it is ready.

The export uses the list’s Search, Brand, Product Type, Stock Depth, and Building filters, so use those to choose its rows. Contact Endless support for help exporting by product attribute. Sorting is not applied. Split exports stop at 10,000 rows by default. Combined exports are not limited.

With a Building filter, the export includes every SKU that has a location record in that building, even when its quantity is now 0. The record stays after the stock leaves. Split by warehouse also lists every active building for each SKU, including buildings with 0 units.

The export uses the same calculations as the list. Numbers can still differ because:

  • the export reflects quantities when the file is generated, and stock may have changed since you looked at the list;
  • the list shows zero as “-”;
  • Split by location shows each location’s raw stock, which includes damaged and quarantined units and does not subtract orders, so it does not match Available to Sell;
  • Stock Depth stays company-wide even with a Building filter.

“Remove the location filter to combine inventory” appears on the Combined option when the export is limited to specific locations. Choose Split by location or Split by warehouse to export those locations.
