Can I export inventory history or see how much stock I had on a past date?

Yes, from the Inventory section of the ECHO page, which may not be available on every account. Endless records each SKU’s stock in each building once a day and keeps a log of every stock change.

  • Item history: to export an item’s changes, open ECHO, choose Inventory and then Changes, filter by the SKU and a date range, and choose “Export inventory changes” from the table actions. The item’s History tab lists the same changes on screen.
  • Stock on a past date: the Snapshots view under ECHO Inventory has one row per day, SKU, and building, with available, on hand, in stock, allocated, and incoming quantities. Filter by date and choose “Export inventory snapshots”. Endless takes the snapshot once a day, at midnight UTC.
  • How far back: snapshots start on the first day Endless captured them for your account, and the change log starts when Endless began recording changes. Endless does not delete either on a schedule. Snapshots stay until someone removes them with “Delete Echo data…”. To add earlier dates, use “Import inventory” on the Snapshots view, with date, SKU, warehouse, and inventory columns.
  • Date and time stock was added: the Changes view and the item’s History tab show When, Reason, Warehouse, and Location for each change, including receipts and adjustments.

Export Inventory on the inventory list exports current quantities only. ECHO exports include records up to the export row limit, which is 10,000 rows by default, so narrow the date range or SKUs for large exports.

Contact Endless support if ECHO does not appear on your account.
