Can Endless forecast demand and tell me when to reorder?

Demand Planning, under Demand then Planning, shows recent demand and current stock for each SKU so you can decide what to reorder. It may not be available on every account.

For each SKU, Demand Planning shows Available inventory, Inbound inventory, Future available, Reorder threshold, Average monthly orders, Days of supply, Suggested order qty, and Lead time (days), with a chart of past orders. Days of supply estimates how long available stock lasts at the rate the SKU shipped over the last 90 days. Suggested order qty is the Reorder threshold minus Future available.

  • Reorder alerts: use the Low Stock badge, which shows when stock falls below the product’s “Restock At” quantity, and the Stock Depth filter on the inventory list. Lead time is shown for reference, so allow for it when you decide when to order. Your developer or an AI coding tool can send your own reorder alerts by checking for Low Stock items through the Endless API with a Read Only Data Integration. API access must be in your plan.
  • Forecasting: the figures look back over the last 90 days. Days of supply estimates when stock runs out at that rate, so allow for seasonality, promotions, or growth yourself.
  • Scenarios: Demand Planning shows one view based on recent demand. Plan best-case, expected, and worst-case quantities outside Endless.
  • Purchase orders: create one on the Purchase Orders page, using Suggested order qty as a guide.
  • SKUs that have not moved: use Average monthly orders on Demand Planning to find SKUs with few or no recent orders, and the item’s History tab to see when its stock last changed.
