What do the Endless EDI integration settings, such as ISA ID, vendor number, and remit-to, control?
These settings identify you and the retailer on every EDI document, and fill retailer-specific fields in some documents.
EDI ISA ID is your company’s interchange ID, up to 15 characters. Endless sends it as the sender on every outgoing document. If you do not have one, contact Endless support for one. The retailer must have the same ID on file.
Partner EDI ISA ID is the retailer’s ID, used as the receiver on every outgoing document. Partner EDI ISA ID for 856 (ASN) is needed only when the retailer receives ship notices under a different ID from its other documents. Left blank, ship notices go to the Partner EDI ISA ID.
Polling Bucket ID identifies where Endless EDI holds incoming documents for this connection. Endless provides it during setup. Endless checks it every 5 minutes for new purchase orders, and the integration needs it to receive orders.
Remit-To Name and Remit-To DUNS Number are the payee name and DUNS (or DUNS+4) that Endless puts in the remit-to party of 810 invoices, for retailers that require one, such as Kohl’s.
Vendor Number is the number the retailer assigned you. Partner Warehouse ID is the retailer’s identifier for your warehouse. Endless uses both in the 846 inventory document, which reports one combined quantity per SKU from every building set to push inventory to this integration, under the Partner Warehouse ID. When 846 updates are on, also set Inventory Maximum above your largest stock.
Carrier aliases, on the integration’s Data mapping tab, link a retailer’s carrier text to an Endless carrier service. On incoming purchase orders, Endless matches the retailer’s routing text against each alias’s Carrier Service Name or Service Code, not its Carrier Name, and sets that carrier service as requested on the order. On outgoing documents such as the 856, the retailer’s format can look up the alias for the shipment’s carrier service and send its carrier name and service code. The SCAC comes from the Endless carrier service, not from the alias.
