Building Connections

In order to interact with any other systems, you must configure connections. Connections allow Endless to correctly identify your building when working with inventory and orders.

To configure a connection, first choose which integration creates the connection and then provide an external ID. This is the ID of your building in the other system and must be formatted correctly. Common examples include:

Connecting to Shopify

To connect to a building in Shopify, use the following format for the external ID: gid://shopify/Location/XXXXXXXXXXX. To find your location ID, open the location in the Shopify admin and look at the URL in your browser’s address bar. The numeric segment at the end of the path (for example, /settings/locations/78419624076) is the Shopify location ID—substitute that value into the GID (for example, gid://shopify/Location/78419624076).
