How do I send a supply shipment to my warehouse as an ASN, and what happens when I change or cancel it afterward?
An ASN, or advance shipping notice, tells a warehouse what is arriving. In Endless the supply shipment is the ASN, and “Send shipment” sends it with its items to the destination building’s warehouse integration. Endless never sends one automatically.
After sending, check the warehouse integration for supported updates. Send updates before receiving begins. Canceling a shipment requests cancellation of its linked receiving order and confirmed delivery appointment. Check Activity to see whether the warehouse accepted the request.
Warehouse integrations can report counts on a schedule, by notification, or when you refresh received inventory. Check the Received column for the count on each SKU. For Extensiv, GoBolt, InfoPlus, ShipBob, Jazz, Fuse, and Veracore, a completed warehouse receipt can mark the shipment Received only when every line arrived in full. A short delivery stays In Receiving for review. Closing is manual. Receipts change stock only at buildings where Endless manages inventory.
“ASN has not started receiving inventory in the downstream integration yet.” appears on the Activity tab when Endless checks the warehouse for receipts. To see what the warehouse has received so far, check the Received column on the shipment’s items.
“Failed to mark ASN as arrived” means Endless could not move the shipment to In Receiving. Quantities may still update. Move the status yourself.
Stock from a delivery that has no supply shipment reaches Endless through the warehouse’s inventory sync. To track a delivery as incoming, create its supply shipment before it arrives.
