How do I receive a supply shipment and record what arrived?
Open the shipment’s Items card, choose Bulk receive items, and enter what arrived on each line. Receive in Full fills only blank or zero counts. Clear All blanks every count after confirmation. Blanks save as zero. Review the stock changes before saving.
Saving counts from Pending, In Transit, or Delivered starts receiving. If all lines are received in full, the app prompts for the received date to finish. To edit counts on a Received or Closed shipment, revert to In Receiving first. A canceled shipment must be uncanceled before receiving.
In “Confirm changes,” each row is an item whose received quantity changed. Stock Levels is the change to on-hand stock in the destination building, or at the destination location when one is set. Incoming is the change to the quantity still expected, so receiving 10 units shows +10 and -10. When another system, such as a warehouse integration, manages the building’s inventory, Stock Levels does not change and only Incoming updates. Custom destinations do not track either.
“This product will be created upon confirmation.” appears for a line whose SKU does not match a product. On confirmation, Endless creates a Finished Good with that SKU and name, then adds the stock. It creates the product only when the destination building’s inventory is managed in Endless.
To check what has been received, look at the shipment’s status and Received column. Each receipt also appears on the product’s inventory Activity tab as “Inventory updated from shipment” with the shipment number.
For a purchase order delivered to you directly, use “Create Shipment” on the purchase order, set your building as the destination, and receive it. Shopify gets the new quantity on the next inventory push if that building is connected to a Shopify location with “Push inventory to integration” turned on.
To receive an item that was not on the shipment, add it with “Add Item,” then enter its received quantity. While the shipment is In Receiving, you can add it with a quantity of 0.
