How do I print product and carton barcode labels?

Select products on the product list and choose “Create Labels,” or choose “Create labels” on one product. The Create Labels window has two templates:

  • Custom: a product label you design from product data, with a UPC / EAN, ITF-14, or Code 128 barcode and the text lines you choose.
  • System: inner pack and master carton labels built from each product’s packout data, with a GS1 ITF-14 barcode.

For carton labels, choose System, then Master Carton or Inner Pack as the packout level, and a 6″ × 4″ landscape or 4″ × 6″ portrait label. Endless prints the unit count and GTIN from the product’s Dimensions tab and lists products missing them under “Resolve issues.”

Custom labels print on thermal roll stock, such as Zebra and Dymo sizes, or on sheet labels, such as Avery 5160. You can also enter a custom size.

A saved label recipe stores the stock, barcode, lines, and layout of a Custom label under a name, with the upload column mapping when you print from an uploaded list. Recipes are shared across the company.

“Rows from” sets which products get labels:

  • Selected products: the products you selected.
  • From orders: pick sales orders or purchase orders. Each line prints as many copies as its ordered quantity, so you get one label per unit.
  • Uploaded list: paste rows or upload an .xlsx or .csv file. Choose whether to match by SKU or UPC, and optionally a column that sets copies per row.

With several copies, Grouped prints every copy of one product before the next product. Interleaved prints one label for each product, then a second of each, which suits labelling a mixed batch unit by unit.

Custom labels can print Text, Number, Yes / No, and Date attribute values, which appear among the lines under Attributes. Contact Endless support for help printing a Description attribute.
