How do I prepare an inventory export for reimport?
Export inventory split by location, retain the SKU, Warehouse ID, Location ID, and Stock Level columns, and replace Stock Level with the final quantity you want at each location.

Replace the example IDs with IDs from your export. A value of 25 sets the location to 25 units; it does not add 25. Zero sets it to zero.
Remove reporting columns such as Name, UPC, Available, Physical, Warehouse Name, and Location Name before importing.
Location ID is optional. Leave it blank to use Location Handle (available or unavailable), or leave both blank for the building’s Default Available location. Location ID takes precedence when both are filled. Use one row per SKU and location.
Products, buildings, and locations must already exist. Positive stock can initialize inventory for an existing product that has never been stocked. The import does not create products or buildings.
