What do the metrics, filters, and search on the purchase orders page show?
The cards at the top of the Purchase Orders page summarize all of your company’s purchase orders, and the search and filters narrow the list below them. The cards do not change when you search or filter, and they leave out archived purchase orders.
Search matches the PO number, the short description, or the SKU of any line on the purchase order, including part of one. To find purchase orders by supplier, use the Supplier filter. Other filters cover Status, Milestone, Shipment Status, Financial Status, dates created, closed, and expected, Closed, Confirmed, and “Archived POs.”
The cards:
- Orders by Milestone counts open purchase orders, those not Closed or Canceled, by milestone: Pre-production, Production, and Shipment / Delivery together. To see purchase orders in Pre-shipment (Quality Control and Awaiting Shipment) or Draft, which does not have a milestone, use the Milestone or Status filter on the list.
- Orders at Risk counts open purchase orders whose current milestone is marked At Risk. It counts At Risk only, so purchase orders marked Delayed are left out. Your team sets the track status when updating a milestone. Contact Endless support to discuss counting Delayed purchase orders.
- Average Lead Time is the average number of days from Confirmed date to actual Delivery date. It includes every purchase order that has both dates, at any status, including Closed and Canceled. It is the same for all suppliers and shows “--” until at least one purchase order has both dates.
- Total PO Value adds up the line totals (quantity times unit cost) of every open purchase order, those not Closed or Canceled. Draft and In Review purchase orders are included. It does not include payments, shipping, or duties. The card shows how many active orders it covers.
