Which columns can I import for supply shipments?

Use a supply shipment CSV with one row per item, repeating Shipment Number to group rows for the same shipment. Start from a shipment export when updating existing lines.

Destination Building must match an active building name. Destination Location must belong to it. For a custom destination, use Destination Name instead of the building and location fields. Dates accept YYYY-MM-DD or month-first dates such as 7/15/2026, including month-first dates with dashes and two-digit years. Day-first dates are not supported.

Item Quantity is required with Item SKU. Keep Item ID from an export to update the same line. Leave it blank for new lines. Item PO Number links the SKU to a line on that purchase order.

Item Received Quantity is export-only. Set received quantities on the shipment after import. See matching and status behavior and warnings and errors.

New shipments default to Pending and Standard. Shipment Type accepts standard, blind, return, or transfer. Transport Mode accepts ocean, air, truck, rail, parcel, or other. Container Size accepts 20ft, 40ft, 40ft_hq, lcl, ftl, ltl, or other. Cost Allocation accepts incomplete, pending, or complete; Payment Status accepts unpaid, partially_paid, or paid.

Shipment Number is limited to 50 characters, Tracking Number to 100, and Item SKU to 40. Item Quantity must be greater than zero for a new shipment. Carton and pallet counts and Item Qty Per MC are whole numbers. Number fields accept thousands separators.

Repeat shipment-level values on each row or fill them on one row only. Conflicting values for the same shipment fail the import. Blank cells leave existing values unchanged. Unsupported columns are ignored and reported. Lines absent from the file remain unchanged; duplicate rows for the same line fail the import. An Item ID requires a matching existing shipment.

Status accepts pending, in_transit, delivered, in_receiving, received, or closed and moves forward one step at a time. Import cannot cancel a shipment, move it backward, rename it, clear fields, or remove lines. Make those changes on the shipment page.

Notes adds one note per shipment, credited to the person importing. Use at least three characters and repeat identical text on each row or fill it on one row only. Different notes for the same shipment fail the import. Blank cells leave notes unchanged, and an exact duplicate note is not added again. Notes can be added at any status. To add notes alone, import Shipment Number and Notes.

Shipment exports contain one row per line, with Shipment Number on every row and shipment details on the first row. Dates use M/D/YYYY. The export includes Item Received Quantity, which import ignores. Spreadsheet-sensitive values may have a leading apostrophe; import removes it.
