Can Endless track payments and financial status on purchase orders and supply shipments?
Endless stores payment statuses and due dates on purchase orders and supply shipments, and you set them.
A purchase order’s Financial Status is Unpaid, Partially Paid, or Paid. New purchase orders start as Unpaid. Set it with the Financial Status column in a purchase order import, which also updates existing purchase orders. You can filter the purchase orders list by Financial Status. Record payments in your accounting system, and update Financial Status when a purchase order is paid.
Payment terms such as Net 30 are shown on the purchase order. To fill in Payment Due from them, edit the Dates card and select “Net…” next to Payment Due. Enter a number of days and pick a starting date (Completion, Shipment, or Delivery on a purchase order; Shipment, Delivery, or Received on a supply shipment). Endless adds the days and fills in the date. Select Apply, then save.
Cost Allocation Status on a purchase order is Incomplete or Complete. New purchase orders start as Incomplete. It is a label you set through an import or the API. Update it when you finish distributing costs on a supply shipment.
On a supply shipment, Payment Status (Unpaid, Paid, or Partially Paid) and Cost Assignment (Pending, Incomplete, or Complete) are fields in the shipment’s key information. Select edit to set or change them, for example after you enter or distribute costs.
To reconcile costs, compare ordered, shipped, and received quantities and unit costs on the purchase order and its supply shipments, and match supplier invoices in your accounting system.
Your developer or an AI coding tool can update Financial Status and Cost Allocation Status from your accounting system through the Endless API with an Operations Integration. API access and Supply chain must be in your plan. Contact Endless support to discuss payment tracking or invoice matching.
