How does Endless send ship notices and invoices to Wayfair, and why might one not be sent?

Endless sends Wayfair a ship notice (ASN) when a dropship fulfillment order becomes Fulfilled. It sends one notice per fulfillment order, with the tracking number of its most recent shipment as a single package. The order timeline shows “Wayfair ASN for fulfillment …” followed by “was accepted by Wayfair”, “is processing at Wayfair”, “returned errors”, or “was not sent:” and one of these reasons:

  • the fulfillment has not shipped all its items
  • the shipment has no tracking number
  • the ship date must be within the last 10 days
  • the carrier service has no Wayfair SCAC mapping. Map the carrier on the Data mapping tab.
  • the carrier service is neither parcel nor freight, when the fallback is Do Not Send
  • the warehouse has no address
  • an order item has no Wayfair part number

After fixing a reason above, select “Send shipments” for the order. To correct a notice that is already accepted or processing, contact Endless support.

“ASN Parcel Type Mode” chooses whether notices report small or large parcel. Always Small Parcel and Always Large Parcel apply to every notice. Endless Carrier Type, the default, reports small parcel for parcel carrier services and large parcel for freight services.

“Unclassified Carrier Fallback” applies under Endless Carrier Type when a carrier service is neither parcel nor freight. Small Parcel or Large Parcel sends the notice as that type. Do Not Send, the default, sends no notice and records the error.
