How do I push products from Endless to Shopify, and what does it change there?

Select products in the product list, or open a product, and choose “Push product data”, then pick the Shopify integration. The integration’s “Push Product Information” action pushes every product in the company. If “Push product data” does not appear, contact Endless support. Push again after you edit products.

Endless finds every Shopify variant whose SKU, or UPC when “Match products on” is Barcode (UPC), equals the product’s, and updates all of them. Products without that value are skipped.

On matched variants Endless writes each field whose push setting is on: name as the Shopify product title, description, SKU, barcode, weight in pounds, MSRP as compare-at price, customs code, and country of origin. Empty values in Endless leave Shopify unchanged. A Shopify product with several variants takes the name of the variant pushed last.

“Push selling price” is off by default. When on, it writes the product’s price for the integration’s sales channel, or the MSRP when there is no channel price. A product with no price, or a price of zero, keeps its Shopify price. The push dialog warns when price push is on.

When no variant matches, Endless creates a Shopify product with one variant. “Create unmatched products as drafts” is on by default and creates it as Draft. When it is off, the product is Active.

To map attributes to metafields, select “Manage Attribute Mappings” under Product publishing on the integration’s Data mapping tab. Enter a metafield as namespace.key, or as a bare key, which uses “Default metafield namespace” (custom by default). Create the metafield definition in Shopify first, because Endless writes a value only where a matching one exists. “Write attribute metafields to” chooses Product metafields, Variant metafields, or Both product and variant.

When “Enable products exporting” is saved off, “Push product data” is disabled for that integration and shows “(product export off)”. “Push Product Information” pushes every product in the company, so run it only when you want all of them updated in Shopify.
