How does Endless keep inventory in sync with Shopify across stores, locations, shared SKUs, and bundles?
Yes. Every 15 minutes Endless sets the available quantity at each Shopify location mapped to a building whose “Push inventory to integration” is Yes, and a stock adjustment sends that SKU right away. “Push Inventory (Overwrite Shopify)” runs the full push now.
“Pull Inventory (Overwrite EC)” works the other way, for buildings whose “Inventory managed by” is the Shopify connection. It sets available stock to Shopify’s on-hand minus damaged quantity, and unavailable stock to the damaged quantity. It also runs once a day.
The first push replaces Shopify’s quantities at mapped locations with Endless’s Available to Sell. Endless updates every variant whose SKU exactly matches an Endless product, including draft and archived products in Shopify.
Endless updates a location only where the item is stocked. With “Automatically stock items at mapped Shopify locations” on, it stocks the item there first when the quantity is positive. With it off, those updates are skipped and listed on the Activity tab.
Full pushes send the reason Correction. Pushes after a stock adjustment send the closest Shopify reason, such as Damaged for Damage. Contact Endless support to discuss pushing to fulfillment service locations.
“Include incoming inventory” adds the unreceived quantity on open inbound shipments to each building, so only SKUs on those shipments change.
Each store receives the full quantity of its mapped buildings, so stores sharing a building can sell the same units until the next push. Contact Endless support to discuss dividing stock between stores. A building mapped to two locations sends its full quantity to both, which doubles it in Shopify. Variants sharing a SKU receive the same quantity.
Endless skips Shopify bundles, which Shopify calculates. An Endless bundle or case pack is pushed under its own SKU, and with “Inventory includes components” on it includes units its components can build.
Let Endless manage the building and push to Shopify, so orders from other channels lower the quantities Shopify shows. When Shopify manages a building, the next pull overwrites Endless.
