What do the QuickBooks Online pre-flight warnings mean, and how do I fix them?

The pre-flight check runs before Push Historical Data to Accounting Integration and Export Historical Financials, and lists blockers and warnings for the documents in the chosen dates and sales channels. Push Anyway appears only when every issue is a warning, and it sends the documents as they are. When there is a blocker, the dialog asks you to fix the blockers and push again. Export Anyway is always offered, because exporting does not write to QuickBooks.

Only two issues are warnings: sales receipts without a deposit account, which QuickBooks puts in Undeposited Funds, and no unsent documents matching the dates and channels. Everything else blocks a push.

“Could not reach QuickBooks to verify company settings” means Endless could not read your QuickBooks sales settings, usually because the connection expired or QuickBooks did not respond. Select Reconnect with QuickBooks on the integration, then try again.

“Discount is disabled in QuickBooks” or “Shipping is disabled in QuickBooks” means the documents include discounts or freight, but that option is off in QuickBooks. Turn it on in QuickBooks under Account and Settings > Sales. For shipping, you can instead set Freight destination to Mapped freight item and choose a Freight item.

A missing accounting customer means a document does not have a saved QuickBooks customer. Set the document’s customer or choose Use default after correcting the order customer or sales channel mapping. Changing a channel mapping alone does not replace the saved customer on existing documents.

“Product(s) have no QBO ItemRef; run Import Items on the integration” means those products are not linked to a QuickBooks item. The dialog lists the SKUs and orders. Run Import Items to link products to existing items through the Item code and Item name fields, or push the products with Push Items to create the items. Lines without any product are listed as a separate blocker and need a product on the document.
