How do I connect QuickBooks Online and match my products and vendors?

Create the QuickBooks integration, select Connect with QuickBooks, and approve access at Intuit. Reconnect refreshes authorization or changes the connected company.

Run Initialize Data before sending documents or pushing products. It imports accounts, terms, vendors, customers, and items. Resync Data repeats the import. With QuickBooks as the accounting source of truth, it updates existing accounting records; with Endless as the source, it adds missing records without overwriting existing ones. Orders and documents already sent are not rewritten. Import Terms refreshes terms separately.

Import Items links QuickBooks items to products using the configured Item code and Item name fields, normally SKU and product name. An item without a SKU can also match its name to the configured code. Ambiguous or unmatched items remain unlinked.

Push Items requires accounting configuration on the product. It updates linked items, tries matching an existing QuickBooks item, and creates one when no match exists. Accounts explicitly selected on the product take precedence over integration defaults. Item defaults choose which product fields supply names, descriptions, prices, and costs.

Product pushes and pulls report their background outcome. If overwriting from QuickBooks reports a missing or unknown account, correct the QuickBooks item, run Resync Data, and retry.

Import Vendors creates accounting vendor records and matches existing suppliers by their configured vendor name or legal name, ignoring case. Create missing suppliers in Endless, then map remaining vendors on the integration’s Data mapping tab. Contact Endless support for help resolving unmatched records.
