How do Amazon orders come into Endless, and which order details come with them?

Amazon notifies Endless when an order changes, and Endless checks for these notifications every minute and imports the order. Every two hours, Endless also searches for orders updated since its last search. FBA orders go to the FBA tab’s Sales Channel and FBM orders to the FBM tab’s Sales Channel, and both arrive as Ordered.

An order does not import when:

  • the channel for that order type is off,
  • it is an FBA order and no building is managed by the Amazon connection, or
  • the order was archived in Endless.

Import Orders imports every order updated on Amazon in the past 72 hours in the integration’s marketplace. Import Order imports one order. Enter the Amazon order ID shown in Seller Central, such as 123-1234567-1234567.

Endless imports each line’s SKU, title, quantity, unit price, and tax, plus the ship-by and deliver-by dates. The order total is the sum of its lines plus tax. Find shipping charges, promotions, Amazon fees, and the shipping service the customer chose, such as Expedited, in Seller Central. FBM lines are matched to products by exact SKU. FBA lines are matched by an ASIN linked through Import FBA Catalog. Unmatched lines still import without a product.

Amazon does not give Endless the buyer’s name or street address for FBA orders. They show “Address withheld by Amazon”, with the city, state, and country when Amazon provides them. FBM orders include the buyer’s name, email, phone, and address.

Thirty days after an Amazon order ships, Endless replaces the names, email, phone, company, and address fields with “[REDACTED]”. This runs once a day.

Handle Amazon returns and refunds in Seller Central. When resellable units come back to one of your buildings, add them with an inventory adjustment and the reason Customer Return.
