How does Endless measure a supplier’s performance, order history, and spending?

A supplier’s rating and on-time delivery figures are values stored on the supplier, and spend and order history come from the supplier’s purchase orders.

On-Time Delivery shows the percentage saved on the supplier, or N/A. Your developer or an AI coding tool can set it and the quality rating through the Endless API with an Operations Integration, for example from your own delivery records. API access and Supply chain must be in your plan.

The quality issues list and the “Lead Time: Promised vs. Actual” chart on the Performance tab are not based on your records. Keep quality issues and actual lead times in the supplier’s notes or on its Documents tab.

The quality rating is stored on a scale of 0 to 10. On the supplier’s page, Overall Rating divides it by 2 and shows it out of 5, so 8 shows as 4.0/5.0. Read the rating on the supplier’s page.

For spend in a period or a count of purchase orders, filter the Purchase Orders list by supplier and date and export it. “YTD Spend” adds up the line totals (quantity times unit cost) of every purchase order for the supplier that is not archived, across all years and every status, including Draft and Canceled. It counts product line totals only, without shipping, duties, or payments.

Order History on the supplier’s Overview tab lists the supplier’s purchase orders by Issued date, newest first, up to 10. It starts on “This year,” which shows only purchase orders issued this year, so drafts without an Issued date are hidden. Choose “All time” to see them. To see archived purchase orders, use the “Archived POs” filter on the Purchase Orders list.
