How do I set different prices for customers and sales channels?

Add prices for a customer or a sales channel on the product’s Pricing & Costs tab, in the “Customer and channel prices” card. Choose Customer or Sales channel, pick one, and enter the price. A customer’s prices also appear on the customer’s record, where you can add and bulk edit them. Customer prices may not be available on every account.

To give a wholesale account its own prices, add customer prices for it. You can also set a different price for each sales channel. Endless applies sales channel prices when you add items to a sales order in Endless. For a customer’s price, edit the line after you add it. Contact Endless support for help applying customer prices.

The fields on a price are:

  • Unit price: what this customer or channel pays per unit. It must be above zero.
  • Minimum quantity: the quantity at which this price starts to apply. Blank or 0 makes it the base price.
  • Retail price: optional. The price the customer sells the product at. Retailer Margin is 1 minus the unit price divided by the retail price. Our Margin is 1 minus the product’s Default Landed Cost divided by the unit price.

For quantity breaks, add several prices for the same customer or channel with different minimum quantities. The price with the highest minimum quantity that the ordered quantity reaches applies. Each customer or channel can have one price per minimum quantity, or you see “A price already exists at this minimum quantity.”

To copy a parent customer’s prices, open the child customer and choose “Inherit from parent.” The dialog shows how many prices and products it will copy. Endless copies the parent’s prices for active products, with their minimum quantities and effective dates. Where the child already has a price at the same minimum quantity, Endless keeps the child’s price.

The copies are independent. Later changes to the parent’s prices do not change the child’s. Run “Inherit from parent” again to add new parent prices.
