How do I send orders to my warehouse automatically?
Use Create Fulfillments to create fulfillment orders, then Process Fulfillment to allocate and send them. Fulfillment processing rules have been retired.
A Create Fulfillments automation runs on Order Created or Order Approved using a routing strategy you choose. The strategy decides which building supplies each item. If the sales order is Draft or Pending, the action waits for approval for up to 30 days and stops if the order is canceled.
For the next stage, create a Fulfillment Created automation with Process Fulfillment. Choose “Allocate only,” “Allocate and mark ready,” or “Allocate and send for fulfillment.” Conditions such as Building or Sales Channel decide which fulfillment orders it handles.
If the automation needs to choose the warehouse integration, put Set Fulfillment Integration before Process Fulfillment in the same automation. It replaces any existing selection on that new fulfillment order. You can also set its carrier service before processing.
Processing must be enabled. Holds, missing stock, incomplete shipping addresses, and missing carrier services can stop progress. Sending also requires a fulfillment integration. The action makes one attempt; after fixing a problem, process the fulfillment again manually or from the Fulfillment Orders list.
Existing fulfillment orders are not processed just because you enable an automation. Use their individual or bulk actions. If a historical rule assignment causes an automation to skip a fulfillment, contact Endless support.
