What is inventory syndication, and what do the quantities and statuses on the Syndication tab mean?

Inventory syndication is Endless sending each SKU’s quantity to your sales channels, with a switch for each SKU and channel. When a channel’s switch is off, Endless sends zero for that SKU to that channel instead of the real quantity.

The item’s Syndication tab shows the Inventory Syndication card. Each channel row shows “Quantity:”, which is the SKU’s company-wide Available to Sell, never below zero, or 0 when the channel is set to Out of stock. The quantity a channel receives can be lower, because each channel counts only the buildings that push to it, and some subtract an Inventory Buffer.

In the Syndication view of the inventory list, each channel has a column. “Active” means Endless sends the SKU’s real quantity to that channel. “Out of stock” means syndication is off and Endless sends zero. The number next to the badge is the same quantity as on the card.

The card’s status badge summarizes every channel: Active when all are on, Out of Stock when all are off, and Mixed when some are on and some are off.

A channel is listed only when its integration supports per-SKU syndication: Shopify, Amazon (when “Enable Amazon FBM channel” is on), Faire, Walmart, Wayfair, Mirakl, Rithum, Sellbrite, Extensiv Order Manager, and Endless EDI. 3PLs, ShipStation, and other integrations are not listed, and neither are archived integrations. A listed channel that no building pushes to does not receive anything. When none qualify, the card shows “No connected sales integrations support per-SKU inventory push for this item.” Contact Endless support to discuss per-SKU syndication for a channel that is not listed.

“does not support inventory push exclusions” means you tried to change syndication for an integration that cannot take it, for example Amazon after its FBM channel was turned off. Reload the page and change only the channels listed.
