How does Endless send inventory to Walmart, and why might it not arrive?
Endless sends inventory to Walmart when you select “Push Inventory” on the integration, so push after stock changes. Contact Endless support to discuss scheduled Walmart inventory updates.
A push runs only when “Push Inventory to Walmart” is on and at least one building’s Walmart connection has “Push inventory to integration” set to Yes. Each of those buildings is a Walmart ship node, named by the external ID on its connection, so each building sends its own quantity. Give each building a different, valid ship node ID.
For each SKU and building, Endless sends the available quantity: stock minus allocated units and units on open orders. It subtracts “Inventory Buffer”, caps the result at “Inventory Maximum”, and never sends less than zero. A SKU marked Out of stock for Walmart on the item’s Inventory Syndication card is sent as zero.
If inventory has not reached Walmart, check that:
- someone selected Push Inventory after the change,
- the setting is on and at least one building pushes to Walmart,
- the Walmart SKU matches the Endless SKU, and
- Walmart accepted the request.
To send zero for a SKU that sold out, mark it Out of stock for Walmart on the Inventory Syndication card, then push.
“Walmart inventory push failed:” on the Activity tab means Walmart rejected the submission, and Walmart’s reason follows. To see how Walmart processed a feed it accepted, review the feed status in Seller Center.
After you turn the push off or remove a building, update its quantities on Walmart in Seller Center.
