How do I prepare a Shopify app for an Endless connection?

Ask Endless support to prepare the Shopify app, or have the person managing your app configure it before connecting the store.

For a sandbox connection, use api-sandbox.endlesscommerce.com for both URLs and prepare the integration in sandbox.endlesscommerce.com.

Choose the app’s distribution, configure permissions for the Endless features you use, and release its app version before installing. See Shopify’s distribution instructions and access scope management. Support can help select permissions for products, orders, inventory, locations, and fulfillments.

For a connection using the full setup scope list, review these with support and retain only the permissions needed for your features. Shopify’s scope reference defines each permission:

Keep the Client ID, Client secret, and Shopify installation link for setup in Endless. Give the store owner the Endless connection link; keep the app secret with the person configuring the integration.

Use one Endless integration per store, even when several Shopify Plus stores share the same Shopify app. Start each installation from that store’s Endless integration or its copied connection link.
