How do I connect ShipHero and map my buildings, and what do its settings control?

Create the ShipHero integration with a name, then select “Connect with ShipHero” on its Connection tab. There are three ways to connect:

  • Username + password: sign in with your ShipHero login. Endless uses it once to get access and does not store it. This is the simplest choice.
  • Paste both tokens: enter an access token and a refresh token you created in ShipHero.
  • Refresh token only: enter a refresh token, and Endless gets the access token from it.

“3PL Customer Account ID” is for a ShipHero 3PL login that manages several merchant accounts. Enter the ID of the customer account this integration works for, and Endless includes it on orders, cancellations, products, and inventory. Leave it blank when the login belongs to the merchant’s own ShipHero account. With an ID set, Endless does not register ShipHero notifications, so shipments arrive through its 15-minute check.

To map buildings, open the Data mapping tab and select “Add connection” under Connected Buildings. “Browse external locations” lists your active ShipHero warehouses. Endless sends each fulfillment order’s lines to the warehouse connected to its building. Without a connection, ShipHero chooses. To pull inventory from that warehouse, set the building’s “Inventory managed by” to the ShipHero connection.

“Subscribe to ShipHero webhooks” is on by default. It makes Endless register for ShipHero’s Shipment Update notifications when the integration is set up or saved. When it is off, Endless does not register them, and shipments arrive through the 15-minute check. To remove notifications registered earlier, contact Endless support.

Set the picking flow in ShipHero, and leave “Default picking flow” at its default. Contact Endless support to discuss picking flows.

“Kit type” applies when you push a bundle with “Push Product Data.” Virtual means ShipHero assembles the bundle from its components when an order is picked. Pre-Built means the warehouse assembles kits ahead of time and stocks them.
