How do I connect Extensiv, and what does it sync with Endless?
To connect Extensiv, you need an Extensiv API Key and API Secret, plus two settings under General Settings: Customer ID and User Login ID. Customer ID is the ID of your customer account in Extensiv, and User Login ID is the login ID of the Extensiv API user. Ask your warehouse or your Extensiv administrator for them. Endless uses them to get access from Extensiv when you save the integration, and it renews that access automatically. Then connect each building to its Extensiv facility ID on the Data mapping tab.
Endless sends fulfillment orders to Extensiv, checks for shipped orders every 15 minutes, pulls inventory, and sends supply shipments as purchase orders or receivers. To import sales orders from Extensiv Order Manager, use the Extensiv Order Manager integration. When a product is missing in Extensiv, Endless creates it there and sends again.
Endless pulls inventory every 15 minutes for each building whose inventory source is the Extensiv integration. To pull now, select “Pull Inventory” from the integration’s Actions menu. Extensiv’s Available quantity, plus the units Endless has allocated in that building, becomes the building’s Default Available location. Extensiv’s On Hold quantity becomes Default Unavailable. Endless skips SKUs that do not exist in Endless.
To change or cancel an order after Endless sends it, make the change in Extensiv. Canceling or reverting an In Progress fulfillment order in Endless asks you to “Pull it back”; cancel the order in Extensiv as well.
The check every 15 minutes records tracking and shipped quantities. “Get Shipment” on a fulfillment order whose shipment Endless has not recorded yet also records cartons and their SSCCs, for packages that have a tracking number.
Contact Endless support to discuss sending changes and cancellations to Extensiv, or for help importing cartons.
