How does Endless send fulfillment orders to Business Central and get shipments and inventory back?

When a fulfillment order is sent to Business Central, Endless creates a sales order there, then reads posted packages to record the shipment.

The sales order uses the Endless sales order number as External Document No., the customer number chosen as described for the Customer ID setting, and the ship-to name, address, email, and phone. Each line has the SKU as item number, quantity, unit price, discount, and unit of measure EA. Lines with the same SKU are combined into one line with an averaged price. Order shipping cost is added as a SMALL PACKAGEFREIGHT resource line. Endless then sets the shipping agent and service from the carrier mapping (UPSN and GROUND SAVER 1 LB OR GREATER for each missing mapped carrier or service code), the expected ship date as Must Ship By Date, the fulfillment order number as Your Reference, and a link back to Endless.

Bundles are sent as their components. The bundle’s price and discount are split across the components in proportion to each component’s price.

When the requested carrier service is FedEx Home Delivery, Endless marks the order as residential delivery automatically.

When you cancel a fulfillment order in Endless, delete its sales order in Business Central yourself.

Every 15 minutes, Endless reads posted packages with a packing date in the last day and matches them to fulfillment orders by External Document No. It records the tracking number, carrier, service, weight, dimensions, and the shipped lines. For a package packed earlier, select “Get Shipment” on the In Progress fulfillment order.

Endless pulls inventory every 15 minutes, or on demand with Pull Inventory. It reads the available quantity at the Business Central location code IND and matches items to products by SKU. It writes that quantity to the Default Available location of each building mapped to the integration, adding back quantities already allocated in Endless because Business Central’s figure is net of open sales orders. It sets Default Unavailable to zero.
