How do I connect Business Central, and what do its settings control?

To connect Business Central, enter the client ID and client secret of a Microsoft Entra app registration that can access Business Central as the Business Central API Key and Business Central API Secret. Then fill in the required settings: Tenant ID, Environment Name, Company ID, Company Name, Customer ID, and Payment Terms. You do not need to reconnect when the token expires. Endless requests a new token every 55 minutes, and again when Business Central rejects a request as unauthorized. The Refresh Token action does the same on demand. If the client secret expires or is replaced in Microsoft Entra, enter the new secret on the integration.

Customer ID is the Business Central customer number Endless uses on a sales order when it does not find a more specific one. Endless first uses a customer mapping for the order’s customer, then the B2B customer name on the fulfillment order, then the customer mapped to the order’s sales channel.

Payment Terms is required. Sales orders Endless creates in Business Central use the payment terms on the customer card in Business Central.

The Push settings choose which product fields Push product data writes to the Business Central item card. Most are on by default. Push ship weight, Push packaging URL, Push specs URL, Push landed cost, Push MSRP, and Push unit cost are off. Pushable Cost & Price Fields is a comma-separated list of Business Central field names, such as Unit_Price, that Endless may overwrite. Left empty, Endless never writes a cost or price, even when Push MSRP, Push unit cost, or Push landed cost is on. If you do not see product push, contact Endless support.

Push status (block inactive items) is on by default. Pushing an inactive product sets Blocked on the item, and pushing an active product clears it. Turned off, Endless never changes Blocked.

Business Central owns unit cost on FIFO-costed items. Overwriting it revalues inventory and posts to the general ledger, which is why Endless warns about it.
