How do I edit many products at once with the product sheet or bulk edit?
There are two ways. To set the same field on many products, select them in the product list and choose “Edit with a command.” Type the change in plain words, such as “Set carton height to 12” or “Clear all GTINs,” select “Review change,” check the preview, and select “Apply to N Products.” To edit values one product at a time, use the Sheet view and switch between its views, such as Key Info, Pricing & Costs, Dimensions, and Attributes.
The sheet saves each cell on its own, right after you press Enter or leave the cell. There is no separate save button.
Clearing a cost cell or an attribute cell removes that value. To clear a number or price such as weight, MSRP, or MAP, use “Edit with a command” or the product page.
Copy and paste work one cell at a time. To change many cells at once, use “Edit with a command” or a product import.
Both tools can undo. In the sheet, press Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z to revert recent cell edits; the list of edits resets when you change views or pages. After “Edit with a command,” select Undo in the bar. Undo can put back an old value, but it cannot make a field empty again, and it cannot restore fields that are not loaded on the current view. The review step warns about both.
Description attributes are long text, so edit them in the Descriptions view: turn on “Show in product sheet” for the attribute, select the cell, press Enter to open the editor, and press Cmd+Enter or Ctrl+Enter to save.
